Dancing is the key to life

Covered in sweat all over from dancing to soul/funk music by Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, and James Brown.  I love old school songs, they get me up and moving like no other music. Part of the reason is this is what I was raised on. I listen to other music, but keep coming back to these classics. Today I danced for two hours straight with a few breaks.

Dancing is a great exercise and good for the body. Dancers have great shapes because it is fun and works the entire body. It is so much fun one can dance for hours and burn tons of calories. According to the calorie burning calculator website I burned almost 1, 400 calories tonight. That is like 700 calories a hour.

Tomorrow I will take off and rest and let my body recover and heal from tonight's workout. I will try and take some naps too, to give my body maximum time to repair and rebuild. Resting is a big part of  a exercise program because that when the body does a lot of work and build the strength in your muscles.

My dinner tonight was Salmon Fish that I baked with hush puppies. For lunch, I had two tangerines, energy bars, chips, and water. Tomorrow to celebrate the 4th of July, I will eat hot dogs, baked beans and chips. On Friday I will have fish, a ham and cheese sandwich, or tuna fish sandwiches.

This Saturday I will see my progress up to this point when I get on the scale. Until next time take care and God Bless.
